Throughout our Sunday evening series, Blueprint: God's Plan for Life, Pastor Rob has led us to commit each season of life to the Lord. But, one danger of seeing the clarity of God's design is that we could be tempted to assume that following Him will lead to a life of ease. In this penultimate sermon in the series, Pastor Rob cautions us not to view our callings as a way to receive a temporal payout. We understand God's standard, we strive to follow His ways, but we are never guaranteed that we will have the life that we planned for ourselves. So, what do we do when difficulties come? We press on. We hold fast. We cling to Christ and we stay resolved to do all things for the glory of our King. With eyes centered on the Lord's everlasting praise, we see each calling as a chance to be found faithful, knowing that every season is temporary. When trials come, we celebrate that we are ambassadors of His grace, we do not give up, and we look to the age that awaits.
