Judah's struggles were multi-faceted and God's people had issues on many fronts. They were led astray by their hearts' false worship, being devoted to the temporal as opposed to the everlasting. They were acting in pride, selfishness, and seeking their own way instead of the biblical requirements. But, in this sermon from Jeremiah chapters 21 through 23, Pastor Rob points out that part of Judah's difficulties came from poor leadership. The kings, the priests, and the prophets had gone astray and were failing the community of faith. As we commit our lives to be those who are Walking in Faithfulness, we must be on guard against similar temptations. We need to chase piety, handle the Word rightly, and serve sacrificially. This is the calling for each Christian in every walk of life.
