Where do you rest your hope? Where is your confidence--not only for eternal security, but also for daily grace? In this sermon on chapters 24 through 29 of Jeremiah, Pastor Rob reminds us of our need to rely fully on the living God each day. As we have looked at the failures of Judah and the warnings of discipline to come, we realize that their trust has been misplaced. They have relied on wayward kings, on lethargic prophets, and lying priests. They have hoped in the applause of the nations and the pleasure of the flesh. Sadly, these pursuits have been in vain. As we see the damage done through such error, we are resolved to throw ourselves completely into the arms of Jesus Christ and lean on Him for daily mercies!
