Jesus, God in the flesh, did many works while He ministered on the earth. The Apostle John shares that Jesus moved in power "so that you may marvel" (John 5:20). As we behold Jesus, we should marvel. He is glorious beyond our comprehension and His mercy is better than we can describe. In this sermon from John 5, Pastor Rob calls us to marvel. To marvel at the rule of Christ, at the power of Christ, at the things He has done, and for the tenderness He has shown. In all things, Christ is preeminent. And, as we are drawn back to know Him and make Him known, our only response is to be overwhelmed. May we marvel as we consider the wonder of our Savior!
