Continuing to engage with the Jewish leaders in John 5, Jesus explains that His message is one that is centered on God's glory, not the praise of man. Those who reject the Lord do so out of hostility to His honor and a longing to be celebrated by others. In this sermon on John 5:39-47, Pastor Rob calls us to imitate Jesus and His devotion to the Father by giving our lives to seek the glory of God above all things. We exist for our Master's praise, and we are to be infatuated with Him. As we are overwhelmed by His majesty and live with His fame in view, our joy will be full.
