What is the Send Relief Serve Tour?

The Serve Tour, in partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and Send Relief seeks to inspire Southern Baptists across North America to engage in compassion ministry by providing opportunities for churches to participate in ministry projects in one specific city. The goal of the Serve Tour is to be the vehicle through which churches demonstrate the love of Christ in the city by engaging in compassion ministry.

How long is the trip? Arrive Thursday, April 16, Serve Tour April 17-18, We will attend a local church gathering on April 19th and depart after that.

What is the cost per person? The cost is free. Lodging and travel will be on your own. We will likely try to stay at the same hotel is possible.

What is the general daily schedule? Click here to view a general schedule. We will also attend a local church on Sunday morning. So plan return travel beginning Sunday afternoon.

What transportation is provided? You are responsible for your own transportation.

What meals are included? Lunch will be provided on Friday and Saturday at your ministry project site. Dinner will also be provided before the rally.

What types of service or projects will we be doing? The project types will vary based on the ministry hub location and the project that you register for. These can range anywhere from light construction to community outreach.
