Welcome to First Baptist Katy Student Ministry! If you are looking for a youth group that is focused on fun and games, you are in the wrong place. We do have fun and we have many games throughout the year, but we are centrally focused on discipleship. Our Lord calls us to follow Him and He will make us fishers of men.

This youth ministry is designed to take students just as they are in all walks of life and challenge them to put their faith in action. Students will never be forced to do this by our adult leadership. The decision has to be between the student and God, but we just want to provide them with the tools necessary to equip them to be who God has called them to be for His Kingdom Purpose.

We want all students to feel welcomed and get connected no matter where they are in life, knowing that the only thing that makes us worthy is Jesus Christ; for without Him we are all nothing. Every student will be at different places in their faith, so there is no reason to compare, but just press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Bible Study (9:00am)

Sunday mornings, students will be in a large group to fellowship, hear upcoming opportunities, and an introduction to the lesson. Then students go to a small group with their Bible Study Teachers to have a time of discussion.

Midweek (5-7pm)

Wednesdays

After school, students are welcome to hang out in the Studio 5-6PM and play ping pong, carpet ball, foosball, or fellowship.

From 6:00-7:00PM in the Studio. We will have nights that focus on building relationships with discussion around tables, others that are more fellowship and challenge oriented, some services that are led by the students, and others led by our adult team. There will be something new and different to help keep students engaged. No matter what format we will point students to Jesus!
